MArch 2025 symposium
Sip, Learn, Connect
Make every Wednesday a celebration of Greek wine culture at Krasi’s Symposiums. Each week, we showcase a new theme, exploring Greece’s finest wines through curated tastings and storytelling.
This Month’s Lineup:
3.5.24 | Maria’s March Madness
Is it the famed NCAA tourney? NO. But tonight we have the next best thing for you to sit down and pick the winner of! Our Sommelier Maria is ready to take you on a journey throughout Greece to showcase a few of her favorite new wines…which, *upset alert*, won’t include her number one seed Malagouzia! These fabulous selections are the best way to start off the Spring!
3.12.25 | Seriously Santori
Volcanic soils? Check. Old, pre-phylloxera vines? Check. Bush trained? Check. Now we’re in business! Spring is right around the corner so why not pretend we are on an island in the Cyclades. This week we showcase some of the fantastic wines of Santorini, with the famed Assyrtiko, as well as some lesser known showstoppers. This island has some of the lowest yields on the planet which contributes to the rarity and terroir driven backbones of the wines that are produced. Yamas!
3.19.25 | It ain’t easy being greeK
Welp. Looks like Boston made it through another St Patty’s parade day…but hey, its been a few days and why not jump right back in to the flow. As green as last weekend may have been, Greek wine is here to bring it back. Tonight, the selections are from wineries practicing fully organic and biodynamic practices with minimal to zero intervention, as the way their ancestors have done for generations. *Warning: Krasi does not assume any responsibility for wine induced time travel*
3.26.25 | A Toast to Freedom! Greek Independence Day!
Wine holds a significant place in Greek culture, symbolizing resilience, tradition, and the spirit of Independence. Yesterday, we celebrated almost 200 years of Greece’s Independence from the Ottoman Empire. Today, we celebrate by pouring some of the most influential varietals through the history of winemaking in the country! These wines represent both the strength of those who fought for liberation and the rich, unbroken traditions that continue to define Greece’s cultural identity. CHRONIA POLLA!
