Sip, Learn, Connect

Make every Wednesday a celebration of Greek wine culture at Krasi’s Symposiums. Each week, we showcase a new theme, exploring Greece’s finest wines through curated tastings and storytelling.

This Month’s Lineup:

2.5.24 | Let’s Pretend It’s July and Drink Greek Island Whites

IT IS COLD AF OUT THERE!! Yes, we know, we know. So, let’s use our imaginations tonight and go on vacation in our souls and minds. We travel to the Greek isles to enjoy incredible white wine and play in the sand with our toes. If you want, you can even put on swimwear under your Canada Goose parka if it gets you in the mood…. The Greek islands are home to glorious white wines and even though it is freezing outside, why stop enjoying them? Go ahead, raise a glass and travel without moving.

2.12.25 | Alone on Valentine’s? Greek Wine Still Loves You

Oh, Valentines Day….A quasi made-up holiday that makes you feel like a scrub if you are not with someone on that day. What kind of harsh BS is that? Well, guess what: Greek wines loves you, wants you, and will always be there for you, all year long. Tonight we pour some of our most romantic, lovely, and sexy Greek wines. By the way, if you come tonight as a couple, you suck. For the rest of you, in the famous words of amazing Greek American Telly Savalas, “WHO LOVES YA, BABY?”

2.19.25 | BATTLE OF THE NORTH AND THE SOUTH: GREEK WINE VERSION

Nearly every country seems to have a little (and sometimes not so little…) rivalry between the north and south of their nation. There is a bit of that in Greece too. Even though Greek winemakers truly love and support one another regardless of where they are located, because they grow different grapes and make varied styles of wine, there is a little friendly competition. Tonight, we let you be the judge. We are pouring wines from both the northern and southern regions of Greece and want you to determine who takes the top spot as we cruise along into 2025.

2.26.25 | Winery Spotlight: Domaine Skouras

It has been far too long since we did a winery spotlight on Skouras wines. They are, simply put, some of the finest Greece has to offer. George Skouras is on the Mount Rushmore of Greek winemakers and his influence on Greek wine can not be overstated. Tonight, we will pour some of the many gems that Skouras produces. Even if you have had a Domaine Skouras wine before, something is going to be brand new for you and really knock your socks off. The wines of Skouras are always a treat to drink, this evening’s selections will be no different.
